- DESCRIPTION: In Phase I, NYES abated asbestos containing terracotta blocks with tar/flashing and board insulation from the north façade of Hangars 2 and 4. In Phase II, abatement consisted of non friable asbestos containing terracotta blocks with tar/flashing material and friable board material from the entire north façade of the same hangers. NYES also prepared the floor of the hangar to prevent water leaks.
